While performing the role, Tanmay experienced body pain when needing to maintain a certain posture. Nevertheless, the actor is satisfied with his character. In an interview with Telechakkar, Tanmay shared that after many years, he started experiencing lower back pain when standing straight.
He noted that he enjoys playing this role. 'When I become Bagha, I don't think at all about having lower back pain or feeling uncomfortable with any movement,' the actor shared. 'I just enjoy every movement. I come to the set in a good mood. The atmosphere there is joyful and fun. Perhaps that is why we can continue releasing new and good episodes.'

Tanmay also mentioned that his series will soon celebrate its 18th anniversary and expressed his sincere gratitude to the show's producer, Asit Modi, for this achievement. The actor also spoke about a personal tragedy—the loss of his father. He recounted that even after receiving news of his father's death, he did not stop filming and returned home to attend the funeral after wrapping up the shoot.
