More than a thousand participants from seven countries will take part in the thirteenth edition of the Federation of International Robotics Sports Association (FIRA) Open Competition. The event is scheduled to take place in Tehran from July 17 to July 24.
Participants and Competition Structure
Teams from Iran, Russia, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Oman, Cyprus, and Turkey will compete both individually and virtually. A total of 392 teams will participate in the competition across 21 specialized leagues.
The event will be organized by Amir Kabir University of Technology for students attending both schools and universities. It will gather elites, researchers, and everyone interested in the field of robotics, according to an ISNA report.
Competition Categories and Goals
The competition will take place in both student and university divisions, covering four main areas: aerorobotics, robot sports, challenge robotics, and university robotics. Participants will demonstrate their skills in developing robotic systems and artificial intelligence algorithms.
