The rehabilitation project in Cormelá covers a total area of 90 m² and is scheduled to be completed in 2025. The main objective of the project is to highlight and emphasize the attributes inherent to the original structure, which represents an example of local vernacular architecture and serves as a relevant historical landmark for the region.
This property is considered one of the few traditional fishermen's residences that have been maintained without substantial modifications over time.
The execution of the work will involve several specialized suppliers. Among them are Anyra Keller, a Rothoblaas supplier, and Chimeneas Quento, responsible for the biomass stove. Electrical services will be carried out by Dámaso, while wooden windows and doors will be supplied by Estelar.
Other partners include Hijos de Vicente Suárez and Maderas Siero, both wood suppliers. For insulation and roofing, materials from Maderas Besteiro and Tejas Verea, a tile supplier, will be used. Regarding finishes, Kerakoll and Revestimientos Hipólito will provide lime mortar, and Perez Antolín will be the lighting supplier.
The electrical infrastructure will be guaranteed by Kilovatio, the electricity provider.
