This event is aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian interaction between the two states, as well as expanding ties in the field of art and culture.
During these days, a meeting took place between the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and the Minister of Culture of Belarus, Marat Markov. The parties discussed issues of developing cooperation in areas such as culture, cinema, theater, museums, libraries, cultural education, creative industry, and digitalization.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation familiarized itself with the activities of the IT Park of Belarus and the A. Glebov State College of Applied Arts in Minsk. During the meetings, issues of preserving cultural heritage, developing museums and libraries, as well as implementing artificial intelligence and modern technologies in this sphere were discussed.
In addition, 'Uzbek Cinema Days' have opened at the 'Pobeda' cinema in Minsk, where Uzbek films are shown to the Belarusian audience. As part of the Cultural Days on July 8, a concert featuring masters of Uzbek art will take place in the 'Respublika' hall in Minsk, and the photo exhibition 'Yangi Uzbekistan' will also be held.
