According to a report from Tasnim News Agency, Majid Anjafi noted that the deputy for crop production is responsible for seventy-five percent of the country's total agricultural output. The latest report on crop cultivation highlights the success of this sector in overcoming energy imbalances and climate challenges.
The Deputy for Crop Production of the Ministry of Agriculture stated that due to reliance on domestic capabilities, the agricultural sector was least affected by economic and environmental factors.
Planning and Farmer Support
He added that according to current planning, wheat production in 1405 is expected to be around 13.5 million tons, of which 10 million tons can be supplied to state procurement centers. In this regard, bonus prices and surcharges have been established for farmers growing wheat, and ensuring financial resources for debt repayment is a government priority.
