Positive trends were observed in Uzbekistan's domestic foreign exchange market from January to May 2026. According to the Central Bank data, the demand and supply of foreign currency from legal and physical persons significantly increased compared to the same period last year. In the first five months of 2026, the total demand for foreign currency amounted to $25.7 billion, which is 20.1% higher than in January-May 2025.
