Adage Automation, a company specializing in environmental monitoring systems and industrial gas analysis, has successfully raised 230 crore rupees in a growth round. The round was led by the fund InCred Growth Partners Fund, which is part of the private equity platform InCred Alternative Investments.
InCred invested 180 crore rupees in this deal. Also participating were the fund Global South Capital, which focuses on manufacturing and industrial enterprises, and investor Prachetas Capital. The capital raised will be directed towards developing AI-supported industrial software, digital monitoring platforms, engineering capabilities, and the company's production infrastructure.
Furthermore, Adage plans to strengthen its international presence in regions such as Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States of America. The company is also exploring opportunities for inorganic growth through acquisitions.
Mragank Jain, Managing Partner at Global South Capital, noted that they will support the company's inorganic growth by leveraging its extensive global network and operational capabilities. Founded in 2001, Adage Automation develops advanced gas analytical systems that help industries control emissions and production processes. The company's products are used in sectors such as oil and gas, steelmaking, cement, chemical, and energy, where continuous monitoring enhances production efficiency and aids in complying with environmental regulations.
The company also provides Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for constant measurement of industrial emissions, as well as ambient air quality monitoring systems to track pollution levels around industrial sites. Investors believe that the company is well-positioned to benefit from long-term structural trends.
Vivek Singla, Managing Partner and Chief Information Officer at InCred Alternative Investments, emphasized that Adage combines deep engineering expertise, market leadership, and strong structural factors driven by industrial automation and environmental monitoring. He added that unique capabilities, trusted client relationships, and global OEM partnerships allow the company to build a leading industrial technology platform.
The investment comes amid the growing adoption of digital technologies by industrial manufacturers to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and comply with stricter environmental standards. Predictive maintenance based on AI has become an increasing priority in heavy industry, analyzing equipment data to detect malfunctions before they occur, thereby improving reliability and lowering operating costs.
Governments and regulatory bodies are also paying more attention to emission monitoring, creating sustained demand for advanced gas analysis solutions and compliance with environmental requirements. India's industrial technology ecosystem is also attracting investor attention as manufacturers strive for automation and digital transformation. Private investors are increasingly supporting companies that create specialized industrial technology platforms with export potential, especially those serving global markets in energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

The Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy emphasized the need for a comprehensive strategy to expand artificial intelligence (AI) education from the school level to universities. According to Emaddin Fatemizadeh, head of the Secretariat of the Headquarters for AI Development and Application, the future of the global economy and technology will be deeply shaped by AI.
Within these goals, the headquarters has defined priorities, including supporting AI training programs, strengthening cooperation with universities, and developing domestic educational content. The Ministry of Education began AI training for 200,000 students in March after developing the Iran Digital national program. Furthermore, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology completed the AI action plan in collaboration with the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
