A delegation from the Fergana region of Uzbekistan conducted a working trip to Gomel region of Belarus to familiarize themselves with the industrial and agro-industrial potential of the southeastern part of the country.

The main goal of the program was to study experience in livestock farming, crop cultivation, and agricultural product processing. During the visit, representatives from Uzbekistan visited enterprises in Mozyrsky, Zlobinsky, and Zhitkovichi districts.
The parties discussed issues of cattle breeding, development of breeding livestock, and the application of modern methods in crop production. In Mozyrsky district, the delegation familiarized itself with the work of the state farm-combine 'Zarya' and the experimental base 'Krinichnaya', where modern approaches to organizing agriculture and achieved results were presented.
In Zlobinsky district, guests visited the enterprise 'Paporotnoye-Agro', which is part of the 'Belarusian Metallurgical Plant' holding and specializes in meat production, dairy products, and crop cultivation. The delegation was shown a new dairy complex opened in April of this year.
According to Sergey Yarets, chairman of the Zlobin district executive committee, this complex is designed to house 750–760 head of dairy cattle. It includes two cow sheds, a milking and dairy block, calf facilities, feed storage, and a technical block. Of particular interest to the Uzbek delegation was the implemented automated management system for the production process, which allows monitoring the condition of animals and minimizing human error using specialized software.
Furthermore, in Zlobinsky district, guests visited the village of Bobovka, where a next-generation dairy farm is being built, as well as a meat processing plant and a sewing factory.
In Zhitkovichi district, representatives from the Fergana region, under the leadership of Hokim Khairurullo Bozarov, inspected the activities of Tvershinsky JSC, Mikhail Shrub's farm, and a number of industrial facilities. The visit program also included familiarization with the processing industry of Gomel region and the range of produced products.
