The Nam Da House, a minimalist architectural project, was developed in the Nam Da community, located in Lam Dong province, Vietnam. The project was conceived on a plot of land behind the owner's parents' house, forming part of a family complex that houses several generations.
Due to the existing structure at the front of the lot, the new residence faces limitations regarding natural light intake, adequate ventilation, and views to the exterior. Furthermore, the western orientation of the land causes the house to receive intense afternoon sun exposure.
The development of the project was carried out under budgetary constraints, and its execution relied significantly on the labor of local artisans.
The design team provided the description of the Baan You Yen Residence / Studio Miti. This project was conceived in an area that has a mix of residential buildings and commercial townhouses, located in the Bang Pho district of Bangkok city.
The owner of this property planned a residence intended to accommodate four family members: the father, the mother, the eldest son, and the youngest son.
