Argentina's comeback
Argentina managed to fight back: first, Cristian Romero reduced the deficit in the 79th minute, and then Lionel Messi equalized in the 83rd minute. The winning goal was scored by Enzo Fernandez in stoppage time, in the 90+3rd minute.

Thanks to this victory, Argentina advanced to the World Cup quarterfinals, while Egypt ended its participation in the tournament, despite having looked very close to a sensation up until that point.
