According to the announcement, the new station will be built on the Sikar-Rings railway section, between the existing stations of Palsana and Bavari Thikriya. This new station will be approximately 11 kilometers from the Hatu Shyam temple. This will provide pilgrims from various parts of the country easier access to the temple. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw assured the delegation that initial work will focus on technical, engineering, and signaling aspects, followed by the construction of the station building itself.
Design and Amenities for Pilgrims
The design of the new railway station will incorporate traditional Rajasthani architecture. The station will feature modern amenities for passengers and pilgrims, including ticket booking offices, spacious waiting halls, clean restrooms, and other necessary services tailored to the needs of the devotees. This initiative is expected to greatly benefit the millions of pilgrims who visit the Hatu Shyam temple annually, making their journeys more comfortable and hassle-free.
Tourism Development and Regional Economy
The construction of this station is also intended to stimulate the growth of religious tourism. Furthermore, it will improve regional connectivity and strengthen the local economy. This measure by the railways is viewed as an important step in developing infrastructure focused on pilgrim needs. Preliminary preparatory work is currently planned to begin, and the station construction will proceed after the completion of the technical procedures.
