The air fryer has become an essential appliance in contemporary kitchens as it allows for the preparation of healthy meals without the need for oil, while maintaining the flavor of the food. However, choosing the right model can be challenging. To assist consumers in finding a quality appliance, Olhar Digital evaluated the Philips Walita Series 3000 model, highlighting its combination of high capacity, practicality, and quiet operation.
Capacity and Family Features
This model is designed to cater to entire families, featuring a total basket capacity of 7.2 liters, which allows for preparing large portions at once. The appliance operates at a maximum temperature of 200ºC, reaching 1800 W at 127V and 2000 W in the 220V version.
All equipment control is managed via the panel located on the top. When connected to power, the user accesses virtual buttons to adjust the temperature, set the cooking time, and select pre-programmed modes specific to various types of food. Additionally, the presence of a glass on the top, along with internal lighting, allows monitoring the cooking process without interrupting operation; the light is controllable via the touch panel.
Compact Design and Low Noise
A notable aspect of the model in operation is the noise level, which is significantly lower compared to other appliances available on the market. This feature is particularly advantageous for those bothered by the excessive noise of certain air fryers, without compromising the overall performance of the equipment.
The body of the appliance features thermal insulation, preventing the external surface from overheating during use. Despite its large capacity, the air fryer maintains a compact design, fitting into smaller kitchens. It measures approximately 30 cm wide and requires only a small amount of free space at the back due to air venting.
Technical Specifications of the Series 3000
The technical specifications include a total basket capacity of 7.2 liters, a digital control panel with a touch-sensitive interface on top, and tempered glass viewing window positioned in the drawer. The appliance features internal lighting to monitor cooking and offers powers of 1800W (for 127V) or 2000W (for 220V).
