On Tuesday, Israeli army forces raided the headquarters of the Solidarity Charitable Association in Nablus, located in occupied West Bank. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the organization has been declared closed for one year.
Operation Progress and Damage
According to local residents, military vehicles and trucks entered the Balata and Askar refugee camps, which are east of Nablus. Following this, troops entered the charity organization's offices and engaged in vandalism of the building for over two hours.
Reasons and Status of the Organization
Ultimately, Israeli soldiers sealed the entrance to the building and posted a military order stating that the association, also known as Al-Tadamon Charitable Society, must be closed due to accusations of 'supporting terrorism.' A military cordon remains in place in the area while the raid is ongoing.
