The Indian brand Qubo has released a range of new gadgets, including surveillance systems and Pro 2K dashcams. These products are equipped with advanced Artificial Intelligence technology called AI Guard.
AI Guard Features in Cameras
Thanks to AI Guard support, Qubo cameras are capable not only of recording theft incidents but also of helping to prevent them. The company claims that the integration of AI Guard makes the cameras more intelligent. Unlike ordinary cameras that merely record a theft, a camera with AI Guard uses an advanced detection system to attempt to prevent the theft.
If someone tries to remove or steal the camera, the system immediately sends an extended alert. Furthermore, video footage is saved to the cloud, ensuring evidence preservation if needed.
Availability of AI Guard Feature
The company announced that the AI Guard feature will be available on all new Qubo security cameras. It will also be integrated into the new Dashcam Pro 2K 4G Live. Moreover, Qubo plans to provide this feature to older cameras through software updates in the coming months.
Features of Dashcam Pro 2K
The Dashcam Pro 2K is an upgraded car dashcam that allows simultaneous recording from both the front and rear of the vehicle. It supports SIM card installation, which enables family members to remotely monitor the correctness of the vehicle's operation. This feature is also useful when renting a car or when the driver is at home.
The dashcam records in 2K Quad HD format, guaranteeing high clarity and video quality. Other advanced features include a supercapacitor and a glass break sensor. The company emphasized that this product is manufactured in India and designed to operate effectively even at temperatures up to 58 degrees Celsius.
Technical Specifications and Price
The front camera of the new dashcam has a resolution of 3 megapixels and records video in 2K resolution. The rear camera can shoot in 1080p quality. Both cameras have a 120-degree field of view, providing wide area coverage. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology is also implemented for better image capture in low-light conditions. Wi-Fi support is provided for device control via phone.
The price of the Dashcam Pro 2K (front + rear) is 5,990 rupees, and it can be purchased on the official Qubo online store. The company also assured users that all Qubo security cameras have passed the STQC test, guaranteeing user privacy and security, and that the product is entirely made in India.
