The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a phone conversation on Monday, June 29, with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhat of Turkmenistan.

Discussion of Economic Cooperation

The participants paid special attention to the practical results of the recent Tashkent International Investment Forum, during which a round-table meeting with American businessmen successfully took place. Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Jameson Greer discussed mechanisms for implementing the achieved commercial agreements.

A separate point of the negotiations was the process of Uzbekistan's integration into the global economic system.
