The LK Design Hotel, located on Avenida Beira-Mar Norte, a prominent spot in Florianópolis, represents an exception among hotels that might seem out of place in the urban environment. Unlike establishments focused solely on hosting outsiders, this hotel fully integrates into the city, frequently being used by those who live and work in the area.
The proposal to make the hotel a welcoming space for both guests and residents was conceived by businessman Walter Osli Koerich during its inauguration in 2020. Upon entering the lobby, one immediately notices the high executive standard, characterized by a spacious reception, comfortable sofas, a central table decorated with fresh flowers, an elegant chandelier—all designed by architect Roberto Migotto and furnished by Jader Almeida. A generous area with armchairs and chairs is served by a well-equipped bar, and large windows allow the city landscape to enter the environment.
At the back of the establishment is the Osli restaurant, which has transformed LK into a local meeting point. Under the direction of Chef Felipe Silva, who has experience in the kitchen of the Ponta dos Ganchos resort (now Awasi), the team ensures daily patronage from residents. The menu offers executive lunch from Monday to Friday, feijoada on Saturdays, brunch on Sundays, and a seven-course tasting menu from Friday to Sunday.
Furthermore, Osli Conecta promotes gatherings where Felipe invites chefs from other states to cook collaboratively. In an edition held in May, the venue hosted five renowned chefs: Elisa Fernandes, Giovanna Grossi, Janete Borges, Daniela Damasceno, and Malu Hoffmann. This event is already part of the city's calendar, selling out tickets in advance, and primarily attracts residents.
The hotel has 164 apartments, configured in 14 different types, including rooms and suites. A guest reported their room as a 'Seafront Luxury,' featuring a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Beira-Mar Norte, highlighting the acoustic comfort of the soundproof windows and the Trousseau bedding. Mornings were marked by the ease of opening the curtain with a remote control.
The most scenic point of the hotel is the terrace, which houses a complete gym on one side and a heated pool on the roof, ending in a lounge area with sofas, offering one of the most beautiful views of Floripa. There is also a bar on the terrace that makes the sunset a special event. To complement the experience, LK provides bicycles for guests, ideal for walks along Beira-Mar Norte in the late afternoon, when the area gains the charm of Vieira Souto, with fishermen casting their nets.
Due to its privileged location, the hotel's surroundings offer several options accessible on foot. Among them are Beiramar Shopping and Casa Hurbana Bocaiúva, which houses five gastronomic establishments, such as Boteco da Ilha, Confeitaria Chuvisco, and Emporium Bocaiúva. Also nearby is El Señor Asador de Brasa, a restaurant by Chef Alysson Müller, specializing in Iberian dishes finished in a Josper oven, such as tomato salad, duck croquettes, Guilho shrimp, and duck rice with Blumenau sausage.
