In the film 'Welcome to the Jungle', actors Akshay Kumar and Ravina have reunited after a long time. Their previous collaboration was well-known from the film 'Mohra', but they had not worked together following rumors of their romance and breakup.

When their pair appeared in the film directed by Ahmad Khan, audiences in cinemas reacted actively. The scene where Ravina grabs Akshay by the collar and says, 'Where have you been for 20 years,' was particularly memorable and caused great excitement among the public.
The Scene's Idea from the Screenwriter
The film's screenwriter, Farhad Samji, commented on this popular moment. He shared how the idea for this scene originated. In a conversation with Siddharth Kanon, Farhad explained that initially, there was no requirement during casting to bring Ravina and Akshay together. However, after the casting was complete, he noticed this possibility and decided to use a reference to nostalgia and metaphor.
Ravina plays a tragic widow from a village in the film. Farhad described her inner state: 'She has a problem with her child; her husband died. When she sees everyone in the village, her inner feeling comes out, saying that you have come after so many years. That was our initial thought.'
Changes During Filming
Farhad then explained how their duo changed during the filming of the movie. Exercising creative freedom, they invented the scene during shooting: Ravina approaches, grabs Akshay by the collar, and says, 'Where have you been for 20 years.'
The scene turned out to be so effective that, according to Farhad, it seemed as if the entire theater had turned into a stadium, and everyone was laughing. He added that in his narration, he used music from the film 'Mohra' in the background to enhance the impression and deliver the punch. He noted that if two connected people like Akshay and Ravina meet, one should take the opportunity, as both are very sporty and agreed to it themselves.
The Film's Financial Success
The film 'Welcome to the Jungle' has already earned 170 crore rupees. Besides Akshay Kumar and Ravina Tandan, thirty other actors participate in the picture.
