A new digital platform called 'Uzbekistan Youth League' is launching in Uzbekistan. This system is designed to assess the successes of young people and ensure access to various educational, career, and social benefits.
Platform operation mechanism
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev introduced this initiative during a meeting with youth. Participants will be able to upload information about their achievements into the system themselves, after which relevant agencies will analyze the data. Based on the results obtained, young citizens will be assigned points that directly determine access to various forms of support.
Types of support provided
Young people who demonstrate high results will gain access to educational grants, discounts when enrolling on a contract basis, as well as 'professional vouchers' and compensation for study abroad costs. In addition, the platform will provide opportunities for business development, including preferential loans and participation in acceleration programs.
Career and housing
The platform will also serve as a tool for career advancement: programs for foreign internships and inclusion in the state service personnel reserve are provided. Participants will also have the opportunity to apply for subsidized mortgages to purchase housing.
Scale and goals of the project
At the end of the year, the most successful participants will receive special awards. The head of state emphasized that the 'Uzbekistan Youth League' is transforming into a nationwide movement. It will unite schoolchildren, students from domestic and foreign universities, young scientists, specialists from the state and private sectors, as well as children of compatriots living abroad. Furthermore, a new support system is being introduced in the country that will allow tens of thousands of young people to master modern working specialties on preferential or free terms.
