The young tennis player from Uzbekistan, Margarita Husanova, successfully competed in the international tournament 'Tennis Europe Junior Tour U14', held in Montreux, Switzerland, and reached the final.
The young tennis player from Uzbekistan, Margarita Husanova, successfully competed in the international tournament 'Tennis Europe Junior Tour U14', held in Montreux, Switzerland, and reached the final.
During the competition, Margarita Husanova defeated several strong opponents to advance to the final stage. In the decisive match, she faced Mathilde Pozzag, a representative of the host country.
In the final match, which was not played without struggle, the Uzbek team initially lost the first set with a score of 3:6. However, she confidently won the second set with a score of 6:0. Nevertheless, in the third set, which went to a tie-break, Margarita Husanova lost with a score of 6:7 (2).
Thus, Margarita Husanova became the runner-up in the 'Tennis Europe Junior Tour' tournament among girls under 14 years old.
Construction and improvement works are underway on the 'Dostlik' tennis complex in the Davlatobod district of the Namangan region. As part of this project, the main facade of the complex will be updated in a modern style.
Additionally, the reconstruction of a 30-room hotel, a 150-seat restaurant, a sauna, as well as eight outdoor and two indoor tennis courts, which will be equipped according to modern requirements, is planned.
Upon completion of the construction work, it is expected that the complex will become a modern sports infrastructure for professional athletes, youth, and tennis enthusiasts. This project will contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in the region, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle, and the expansion of opportunities for holding republican and international level tennis competitions.
