Uzbekistan Presents 191 Types of Industrial Products at the 'INNOPROM-2026' Exhibition in Yekaterinburg

At the international industrial exhibition 'INNOPROM-2026' in Yekaterinburg, Uzbekistan is participating with a national stand covering an area of 264 square meters.

Participation of the Uzbekistan Delegation

According to a message from the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the delegation of Uzbekistan is taking part in this international exhibition in the city of Yekaterinburg. The leadership of the delegation is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Ochilboy Ramatov and Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov.

Exhibition Display

At the exhibition, which runs from July 6 to 9, the national stand, formed with the participation of 9 ministries, departments, and industry organizations, demonstrates Uzbekistan's potential in the field of exports and investments. Opportunities for local producers are also presented in the following areas: agriculture, mining and geology, construction materials production, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, electrical engineering, automotive industry, textile industry, and leather and footwear industry.

It is planned to collect over 900 thousand tons of grain products, based on an average yield of 100 centners per hectare. High results were achieved due to the selection of varieties suitable for the local climate and soil conditions, a scientific approach, quality seed preparation, and the wide implementation of modern intensive agricultural technologies.

Achievements and state support

The fulfillment of the established contract plan exceeded the norm, which was a significant victory for labor on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Independence. The Fergana region demonstrates examples of successful implementation of economic reforms aimed at strengthening food sovereignty, improving agricultural culture, and ensuring the food security of the population. To date, over 307 thousand tons of raw grain have been delivered to the state.

Successes in individual districts

In particular, farmers from the districts of Buvaid, Besharik, Bag'dod, Uchkuprik, Qushtepa, as well as residents of the city of Quvasoy, achieved high results by exceeding the established plan. Farmers' farms 'Munis Ro'zali Mumtoz', 'Saminjon ota', 'Hafizaxon Bonuhon', 'Yahyobek Muhsinbek' from Buvaid district, as well as 'A. Madaminov', 'G'ani ota', 'Abdumutal Bag'dod' from Bag'dod district, 'Davr Tursun' and 'Nasibahon Habibahon' from Qushtepa district, harvested over 100 centners of grain per hectare.

Current work in the region

Currently, harvesting operations are continuing in the region. Additionally, active work is being carried out on replanting fields that were freed up after the main crop harvest.

Uzbekistan Banks Earned 8.46 Trillion Sums in Profit Over 5 Months

According to the Central Bank, the financial results of Uzbekistan's banking system have significantly improved over the first five months of 2026.

Bank Financial Indicators

The total net profit of commercial banks amounted to 8.46 trillion sums, which is 66.7% higher than in the same period last year. During the reporting period, banks' interest income reached 59.3 trillion sums, almost 19.4% exceeding the figure from a year ago. Meanwhile, interest expenses totaled 42.6 trillion sums, resulting in a net interest income for the banking system of 16.7 trillion sums.

Additional Receipts and Reserves

Furthermore, bank revenues excluding interest showed rapid growth, reaching 42.8 trillion sums. To ensure financial stability, reserves were formed amounting to 17.1 trillion sums to cover potential losses on credit and leasing operations, as well as 5.8 trillion sums for other assets.

Accounting Profit and Efficiency

According to reports, the total profit of the banking system before tax was 9.63 trillion sums; however, after deducting tax expenses, the net profit was recorded at 8.46 trillion sums. Financial efficiency indicators also showed positive dynamics: return on assets (ROA) increased from 1.89% last year to 2.44%, and return on equity (ROE) rose from 10.26% to 14.48%, indicating an improvement in the efficiency of using bank capital.

Market Trend Analysis

Nevertheless, analysts note a slight decrease in the ratio of net interest margin to assets and net interest income to liabilities. Experts attribute this situation to the increase in the cost of attracting resources for banks and rising prices in the financial market. Overall, the first five months of the current year show growth in the profitability and capital efficiency of the country's banking system, but the rising cost of resources in the financial market may put pressure on bank margins in the future.

New playground commissioned at state preschool institution in Guliston district

In the 'Yulduz' mahalla of Guliston district, a new building for State Preschool Educational Institution No. 21 has been commissioned. This project, implemented under a state program, required the allocation of 4 billion 650 million soums, enabling the institution to be restored according to modern requirements.

Opening Ceremony and Project Goals

The opening of the new educational facility was attended by the district head Olimjon Zhuraev, religious representatives, mahalla activists, public figures, and parents. Speakers at the event emphasized that the reforms being carried out in the country, aimed at fundamentally developing the preschool education system, ensuring quality upbringing and education for children, and creating proper conditions for them, are demonstrating practical results.

Construction and Capacity Expansion

It is reported that the construction work was completed by the company 'Sirdaryo Baraka Qurilish' MJCH on schedule and with high quality. As a result, another modern social facility was built for the residents of the mahalla. It should be noted that this preschool institution was originally built in 1983 and was designed for 90 pupils. After the commissioning of the new building, the institution's capacity was increased to 150 places.

Improving Conditions for Children

The capacity expansion allows meeting the mahalla's need for preschool education services and increasing the level of coverage of children with upbringing and education. The institution features spacious and bright group rooms, modern playgrounds, children's playgrounds, a dining hall, and a medical office. Furthermore, all necessary conditions for the development of children's intellectual, physical, and creative potential have been provided.

The commissioning of the new playground not only strengthens the infrastructure of the educational system but also contributes to improving the social well-being of the mahalla's residents. Most importantly, it has laid another important foundation for the happy childhood and strong future of hundreds of children who are educated here.
