A British engineer, Allen Millard, realized the concept of mounting a car engine onto a motorcycle, creating a unique machine named the 'Millyard Viper V10'. This motorcycle was hand-built in a garage and is fully legalized for use on public roads.
Auction Details and Cost
The model will be auctioned on July 22nd at the National Motorcycle Museum in England by organizer H&H Classics. The estimated value of the lot ranges from 100,000 to 150,000 pounds sterling, which is equivalent to approximately 715 thousand to 1.07 million reais. The creators consider this price favorable when compared to the cost of a new German SUV in Brazil.
History of the Project's Creation
The idea for the 'Millyard Viper V10' originated in 2004 when Allen and his son visited the demonstration of the Dodge Tomahawk concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Tomahawk, a futuristic four-wheeled Chrysler prototype, used the same V10 engine. The engineer's son challenged him: 'I think you can do something better and build a real motorcycle.'
