Stellantis, the automotive conglomerate that owns brands such as Fiat and Jeep, has started serial production of the new Jeep Avenger at the plant located in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro. This compact SUV will be the first vehicle produced at that facility with a 12-volt mild hybrid system and will also symbolize the introduction of a new electrified vehicle manufacturing platform by the company in Brazilian territory.
