São Sebastião, located on the São Paulo Coast, will host the Arraiá Caiçara in July, marking the beginning of the June festivities in the city. The 2026 edition of this event will take place from July 9 to July 19, offering a diverse program for residents and visitors.
Program and Attractions
During the 11 days of celebration, participants can enjoy shows, quadrilha performances, a country music festival, and various activities that celebrate popular traditions and Caiçara culture. The event venue is pet friendly.
Gastronomy and Infrastructure
The festival will feature more than 40 exhibitors. The gastronomic offering will be varied, including typical fairground dishes such as corn, sweets, and snacks, as well as recipes reminiscent of the characteristic cuisine of the coastal region.
Thematic Village and Event Data
A highlight is the Junina Village, a themed area inaugurated in 2025 and manually decorated by local artists, aiming to recreate the atmosphere of traditional inland festivals. According to data from the Tourism Observatory, the Arraiá Caiçara attracted approximately 35 thousand people in 2025.
