Nargazi Bakjonova, a resident of the 'Kairagochtosh' mahalla in Andijan, underwent a C-section due to premature labor. The operation was performed by a team of obstetricians-gynecologists, neonatologists, and intensivists. As a result, three girls and two boys were born.
Weight of Newborns and Further Treatment
The weight of the first child, a girl, was 1450 grams, and the first boy weighed 1605 grams. The second children weighed 1495 grams (girl) and 1585 grams (boy), while the third girl weighed 1205 grams. After the birth, the mother and newborns were transferred to the regional department of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Maternal and Child Health in Andijan to receive specialized medical care.
Condition After Birth
According to medical staff, the condition of the woman and all five children is assessed as good, and they are under constant observation by specialists. This case is the second instance of a large number of children being born simultaneously in the Andijan region; last month, quadruplets were born at the same medical center.
