Marizanne Kapp, a versatile player for the Proteas team, has been named to the squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Her outstanding performance helped South Africa reach the semi-finals for the fourth consecutive time in the tournament.
Kapp's achievements in the tournament
Kapp demonstrated exceptional qualities by scoring an impressive unbeaten 81 runs, which allowed the Proteas to defeat India. Throughout the tournament, she accumulated 124 runs at an average of 31 and a strike rate of 141.52. This veteran is the only player from South Africa in the squad and also took eight wickets, including three wickets for 23 runs against Pakistan.
