According to the National Statistical Committee data, the volumes of gasoline and diesel fuel production increased in Uzbekistan during the period from January to May 2026.
Automotive Gasoline Production
During the specified period, 502.2 thousand tons of automotive gasoline were produced. For comparison, in the same period of 2025, the country produced 492.4 thousand tons of gasoline. This represents an increase of 9.8 thousand tons or almost 2% compared to last year.
Diesel Fuel Production Growth
An increase was also noted in diesel fuel production. In January-May 2026, 476.4 thousand tons of diesel were produced. In the corresponding period of 2025, this figure was 442 thousand tons. Thus, the volume of diesel fuel production increased by 34.4 thousand tons, which accounts for almost 7.8%.
